‘Oh Brave New World’

16 02 2010

Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World was inspired by a trip to America, written in 1931 and published in 1932.  If you haevn’t (or can’t be bothered) to read the book, for a look at the future the Internationalists wish to create (minus the dodgy clothes of course) watch:

Brave New World (1980 version)

Three hours in duration but it is as true to the book as possible.

In 1958, Brave New World Revisited was published regarding the progress of the ideas in the book and is well worth the read.  Seeing as it is 2010 though thought I will add the advances since then (all from the Telegraph).
